Suakhal is a popular picnic spot which was developed by Hooghly Zilla Parishad. Spanning over an area of 8 acres, Suakhal Tourist Centre features an Energy Education Park. There are ample things for amusement at Suakhal. You will see Botanical Garden, Herb Garden, Flower Garden, Wonderland and many more things. There is boating facility and children's playground.

Charges per picnic spot - Rs. 25/- (Maximum 40 persons in one spot)
Entry Fee - Rs. 10/- per head
There are several cottages for resting purposes.
Charges for booking a cottage - Rs. 200/-
The park remains open from 8 am to 6 pm.

How to Reach
You have to reach Adisaptagram station from Howrah by train. The station lies on Howrah-Bardhhaman Main Line. From there you can reach Suakhal by rickshaw. Suakhal can also be reached from Serampore by bus (Route No. 12/C/1).
