How to Reach

Local trains are running from Sealdah to Kalyani. The journey takes around one and a half hours. Buses and auto rickshaws are available from Kalyani station to reach 'Kalyani Municipality' stoppage. Kalyani Lake Park is a short walk from Kalyani Municipality.

How to Reach

You can reach Habibpur from Sealdah station by Shantipur Local. Coconut Garden is 1 km away from Habibpur station. The picnic spot is easily accessible from Ranaghat too. If you go by car, drive towards Ranaghat and reach Ranaghat railway level crossing via NH34. Coconut Garden Farmhouse is about 5 km from the level crossing. It takes around 2 hours to get to the resort from Kolkata by car.

Parmajdia

Parmajdia is a wonderful picnic spot located near Kalyani in Nadia district of West Bengal. The picnic spot is situated in an islet surrounded by water. The place is calm and peaceful with lots of trees and shrubs which add to the beauty of the place. There is a temple named Krishnarai Temple which is an attraction of the place.

Anandakanan

Anandakanan is one of the most popular picnic spots in the district of Nadia. This picnic spot has been developed by Nabadwip Municipality. The main attraction of Anandakanan is the Saraldighi. It is one of the three vast lakes situated inside this garden. Wonderland and Wonderhouse hosts a number of science models along with horror and fun items that will make children spellbound. A large playground is also there at Anandakanan.

How to Reach

You can reach Nabadwip Dham station from Howrah by train. Anandakanan is located 2.5 km from the Nabadwip Dham station. To reach Anandakanan by car, you have to take NH 34 and drive via Krishnanagar and Shantipur, cross the Nimai Setu built on Bhagirathi river and then reach Nabadwip.

Nearby Attractions

Nabadwip is itself a tourist place. You can also visit the ISKCON Temple in Mayapur.

Kalyani Picnic Garden

Kalyani Picnic Garden is an excellent picnic spot situated in Nadia district of West Bengal. You can have picnic in the open ground or book sheds for picnic. Total 14 sheds are there. There is a children's corner consisting of slips, swings, seesaw etc. for entertainment of children. The garden is set in a natural ambiance surrounded by lots of trees.
