Chechuria Eco Park

Chechuria Eco Park is a popular picnic spot in Bankura district of West Bengal. Spanning over an area of 760 hectares, the park hosts plenty of greenery. You can enjoy boating in the lakes of the eco park. The place is surrounded by Kendu-Mahua-Shal forest. There is a large playground for children. The beautiful environment of Chechuria makes its ideal for picnic. Tribal village of Latapara is located nearby. You may also visit Panchmura, village of the Terracotta artisans which is 12 km from Chechuria.

How to Reach

Trains are running from Howrah to Bankura and Bishnupur. Chechuria is 25 km from Bankura and 27 km from Bishnupur. Buses and cars are available from Bishnupur and Bankura to reach Chechuria Eco Park.
