Taki is a popular picnic spot situated on the bank of Ichamati River in North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal. The neighbouring country of Bangladesh lies on the opposite bank of this river. There are numerous picnic spots at Taki. Many of them are located on the river bank. You can hire a van rickshaw or a motor van and visit the Mini Sunderban, Eco Tourism Park, Rajbari and Pratip Saikat. Several temples namely Nandalal Jiu Temple, Jora Shiv Mandir and Kuleshwari Kali Bari are also worth a visit. One can even go for a boat ride in the waters of the Ichamati River.
